A
SEASON STILL SPECIAL
(June 10, 2009)
Sports is one field
that is very much straightforward. A season
or a campaign can easily be gauged as to
whether to deem it a success or a failure.
Athletes that compete in individual events
such as boxing or running will know right
away if they succeeded or failed. A decorated
belt would be worn by a champion boxer.
A gold medal would hang around the neck
of the champion marathoner or sprinter.
Even in the world of team sports it is just
as black and white. At the end of the Super
Bowl, the World Series, the Stanley Cup
or the NBA Finals the winning team hoists
the championship trophy aloft.

of the PBL Unity Cup championship,
Josh Urbiztondo’s finals performance
will augur well in his bid to enter
the pros. >>
